SUMMARY OF CULTURAL ACTIONS 2016​

• Two Theatre plays for children by the theatrical group HIPPO, titled “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens at the Patmion Cultural Center (January 5-6)

• Two pedagogical theatrical  plays for kindergarten and elementar schools at Patmion Cultural Center, titled « Once upon a Feather: , a romantic fairytale about self-knowledge and true love (February 19)

• Individual Student Art Exhibition of Maria Matthaiou’s works « The Adams Family »,  at  Patmion Cultural Centre (April 26-May02)

• Students Plastic Arts Exhibition at Patmion Cultural Centre followed by a printing workshop “ Make your own T-shirt”  (June 12-19)

• Annual Students Piano concert, dedicated to Mikis Theodorakis at Patmos Aktis Hotel (June 24)

• Annual Piano examinations at Patmos Aktis Hotel, supervised by Ioanna Paraskeuopoulou from the conservatorium ‘ EVYMNIA” (June 25)

• Violin and Theatre concert at Patmos Aktis Hotel, presenting Andrianna Eugenikou’s and Eleni Kottaridi’s students’ performance (June 26)

• Collaboration with “ Patmos Trust” and  creation of a summer art workshop for children run by Anita Aslanoglou & Exhibition at Stavrakas Mansion in Chora- (July 1-August 31)

• Photography Exhibition of Randa Bishop at Patmion Cultural Centre (July 31-Aug 09)

• Obtainiment of Katerina Vezou piano degree with a grade "Excellent" from “Nikos Skalkotas” Conservatory. Katerina Vezou started her piano studies in Patmos as a student of  Daphne Pavlidi and was enrolled  at the Evymnia Conservatory in Piraeus with whom Patmos of Colors is working

• Introduction of new activities with Orff Method/music & movement and young children’s choir activities by Daphne Pavlidi (October)
